At Just Between Seniors Home Care Services, we understand that a clean and comfortable home plays a big part in maintaining independence and well-being. Our caregivers provide light housekeeping to ensure a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for every client.
What’s Included in Light Housekeeping:
- Dusting surfaces in living areas, bedrooms, and common space
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Light kitchen cleanup, including wiping counters and washing dishes
- Taking out trash and recyclables
- Cleaning bathroom counters, sinks, and toilets
- Making beds and changing linens
- Laundry assistance: washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes
- Tidying and organizing daily living areas
- Maintaining a clean, safe walkway and clutter-free environment
Our Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable home according to the client’s care plan
- Ensuring all tasks meet safety and cleanliness standards
- Respecting the client’s personal belongings and preferences
- Reporting any safety concerns or changes in the home environment
- Documenting completed tasks in the care app as required
What Light Housekeeping Does Not Include:
To protect caregivers and clients, our services do not include heavy cleaning such as:
- Moving heavy furniture
- Scrubbing walls or deep cleaning carpets
- Outdoor yard work or home repairs
- Cleaning areas with hazardous conditions
